WELCOME TO KELSO CHRISTIAN ACADEMY!

Who We Are

Kelso Christian Academy is a non-profit childcare center in Kelso,

Washington. We have been a community outreach of Kelso First

Assembly of God for over 30 years. We serve children from 6 weeks

of age through age 5, and before & after childcare for school age

children.

Kelso Christian Academy offers more than just “childcare”. We are a

center committed to developing children in the way they grow best.

We use and provide a fun learning environment where children

develop cognitively, socially, and emotionally by the use of a variety

of learning methods used to incorporate various learning styles of children. Lesson plans are carefully constructed in advance to incorporate all the different ways children learn. The methods are varied, but the child’s schedule is consistent. These plans are posted for parents so you will be aware of what your child is learning. We use a mixture of both teacher directed and child directed activities that cover such areas as games, dramatic play, sensory activities, art, cooking, science, math, language, music, meals and rest time.

KCA has been caring for children for over 30 years. We have a

number of parents who attended KCA as children. We have long-

term staff who are certified, and CPR trained, large rooms and low

teacher/child ratio. We provide nutritious breakfast, lunch, and

snacks. KCA is a part of the Child and Adult Care Food Program

(CACFP) and all meals we serve are in accordance with the state

regulations for proper child nutrition.
